Pony Express Carnival

Every year in conjunction with Pony Express Days the city has a carnival at Nolan Park. This was the first year we went and Delphia was very excited at just the mention on a carnival. After the parade we headed home and had some lunch and took naps and then headed out for more fun.

Delphia wanted to go on almost every ride and we decided that next year we will just buy the day pass and let her go and have fun all day. This was the boat ride and it was in water and they just rode around and around.



Josie was too little to ride so she played on the fences and watched Delphia have fun.

The Ferris wheel was the first ride the Delphia rode when we got there. She had fun and doesn't mind being way up high in the air.

Delphia was insistent that she ride the mini roller coaster. It was kinda fast and jerky and at first she was a little shocked but then she just laughed the whole ride! She was so thrilled that she went by herself and kept telling me how much fun she had!

Before we left we bought some cotton candy for the girls. On the way out we headed over the the vendor booths and talked to Ben Hayes. Josie was exhausted and Delphia got way sticky eating her cotton candy. When she went to pick up her water cup her hands were just covered in cotton candy.

This was Delphia's favorite ride by far. She went on it 3-4 times and loved it. It scared me just watching her and Shane.
