Oh Toodles!

Little miss Josie has fallen in love with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. When they call for toodles then she puts her hand to her mouth and calls, "Oh toodles!" We have a video, but it's not letting me upload right now.

She is starting to try and talk a lot now. She says uh-oh, baby, momma, daddy, toodles, kind of a hi.

You can actually have a pretend conversation with her and it is quite funny! You can ask a question, our current favorite is, "Josie, do you want Frosted Flakes or Chex?" to which she will respond, "Ummmmm, Chex" or "Ummmmm, flakes." It makes us laugh because that is the only question she says Ummm to.

Today she was holding the phone talking to Shane on his way home. He would say something to her and she would be quiet, but as soon as he was finished asking she would jabber about something. This went on and on and it sounded like a real life conversation.

All In A Sunday Afternoon

My dad somehow came by this popcorn popper. I was going to use it for activity days, but first we had to try it out at home.

Last Sunday we popper popcorn in the popper and watched Cars until Delphia decided she didn't like it. She is really into Aladdin and has watched it almost every day during Josies naptime for the past month. We finally got her to agree to watch Lion King and enjoy her popcorn.

Shane had Delphia help him wipe it down so that we could bring it downstairs and have warm popcorn.

Shane getting ready to dump the popcorn in. He let Phia turn the popper on.

Watching and waiting for it to pop.

Josie was very curious as to what was going on. We all sat and enjoyed the warm popcorn!

Phia's New Dress

I have been in a sewing/creating mood lately.

We went to JoAnns awhile back and Delphia couldn't stop touching all the fabrics and telling me how pretty or gorgeous they were. She kept grabbing fabric and would say, "This ones red, your favorite color. Do you love it?" "Isn't this one lovely mom?"

I let her choose two fabrics so we could make her some dresses. This is the first dress and I absolutely adore it! You can't tell from the pictures but there are 8 panels and between the panels is a section of ruched fabric. The back ties really cute also and she felt like a princess all day!

A New Dress

Phia has needed some new dresses as her old dresses are either getting in the too short range or they are wintery and too warm.

Last week I went to Pine Needles and they had the cutest dress made up and only one pattern left. It was made by oliver + s and after seeing the dress made up I couldn't resist buying it.

The fabric was stuff I already had on hand. I love the red with the polka dots! She loves when I make her new things and it is so much fun to see how excite she is and you can just tell that she feels pretty!
