Long Weekend Continued

Phia is napping so I will try and get everything else about the weekend posted.....

Sunday we went to church and then to Shanes parents. She had Linda and Doug and their kids over so that Grandma Schow wouldn't have to worry about feeding them. After dinner she had invited the rest of the family over for dessert (brownies and ice cream with chocolate syrup!) Yum! We had a good time visiting with all the family and didn't leave until 10:30 that evening.

Monday we were planning on putting our garden in but we woke up to pouring rain. We did eventually get it planted throughout the day wen the rain slowed down but boy were we muddy! We planted 2 kinds of tomatos, jalepenos, cilantro, green peppers, red peppers, 2 kinds of pumpkins, zucchini, squash, corn and watermelon. We are also going to get a start of rhubarb from my mom. Hopefully we get lots of wonderful vegetables for the summer and fall! It was quite a bit of work and was made even harder by a baby who would lay down and then wake up screaming 15 minutes later. She did this for her 2 naps and at bedtime.

Tuesday I had an appointment with Sally at Dr Foley's and my mom wasn't feeling up to watching Phia so Shanes mom said she would watch her for us. We drove into Lehi that afernoon and went to lunch at Chili's. Shane got Phia out of the car and she threw up on his shoulder and en all over the parking spot. We got her and Shane cleaned up and went to eat. We splurged on dessert and it was delicious! It was a molten white chocolate cake with raspberry sauce, white chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. We heade to Shane's parents and visited until we had to leave. We headed to Salt Lake to LDS Hospital for my appointment. They put me on an oral B-12 med and told me to take a multi-vitamin. Other than that the visit was uneventful and we then headed to get Phia. We had dinner at Shane's parents and fed Phia some banana-cado and headed to Costco to get my vitamins. The pharmacy was closed though so we just headed home.
