Witches at Gardener

The middle of September, we dropped Shane off at work and headed to Gardener Historic to see the witches that they put up every year. The real point of the visit was to get fabric for a car seat cover but I figured while we were there we could feed the ducks and see the witches.

Delphia immediately wanted to go see the witches and feed the ducks but I told her that we had to head to Pine Needles first. They were pretty good in the fabric store so we headed outside.

Phia loved the big cake in front of the bakery and wanted to know which witch had made it.

Witch flying over the stream.

This was her favorite witch last year and she seemed to like it this year also. However when we asked her which was her favorite she told us that is was the "hula bean" witch. In adult terms that is the hula hooping witch.

She had fun feeding the birds in the trees and then the duck when he wandered past. However, she apparently wasn't feeding him fast enough because he took the bread right out of her had getting her fingers in the process. She wasn't hurt, just really scared and huddling against the stroller.

Posing with the pumpkins. She was having a ball pulling hay out of the haystack and throming it in the air and singing, "Springtime in the fall." No idea what that means but she has been saying it forever.
